In this course, students will utilize methods important to archaeological laboratory analysis. Methods will include (but are not limited to) artifact processing and analysis, cataloging, analysis and interpretation of field data, and reporting, with a focus on skills that are sought after by employers in cultural resource management (CRM). Previously collected artifacts will be used and course content will focus on the material culture of Michigan and the surrounding Great Lakes region.
