In this course, students will examine the juvenile justice system, including law enforcement, courts and corrections. The course will emphasize the history and philosophy of a separate justice system for juvenile cases. This course also surveys the theories of causation of juvenile delinquency, juvenile victimization, and intervention strategies. Level I Prerequisite: Academic Reading and Writing Levels of 6
