In this course, students will be introduced to the physical processes that affect the environment, the impact of people on the environment and the physical resources in our environment. They will also explore the causes, consequences, and possible solutions to both local and global environmental issues. Emphasis will be placed on a holistic approach to environmental science and sustainability, using laboratory exercises, class discussions and projects to reinforce scientific principles.
