In this course, students acquire elementary conversational skills and develop the ability to understand, speak, react, and reflect using everyday conversational German. Through the introduction of vocabulary, grammatical structures, idioms, and real-life dramatization, the students practice these skills. Listening activities and some reading/writing activities will be included. Students are expected to spend considerable time outside of class practicing with materials provided.
