This course is designed as an introduction to computer-aided drafting (CAD) and the CAD environment. Emphasis is placed upon the fundamentals of CAD software and the creation of two-dimensional CAD piping drawings. AutoCAD drafting software and Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems are utilized. It is suggested that each student bring a USB thumb drive to use with this course.
